Negin Hotel is located in Kish Island, a hot and humid region of southern Iran.
Taking into account the built area limitations set by the City, The design procedure was initiated based on providing better views to the site from the hotel suits. The building was formed in an L shape surrounding a central courtyard. In the next step a consistent series of voids and solids was used not only to create all the interior spaces but also to form all the openings, including the entrances, balconies, as well as the transparencies on the façade, shaped by the gradual shift from a solid form to openings of different sizes.
Considering the climatic condition of the site, all the openings are designed to maintain natural ventilation as well as a proper shading system which provides indirect sunlight exposure to the interior spaces.
