This project is located in Fereshteh Street, a relatively narrow street in Northern Tehran with a dense urban fabric.
The volume of the building was formed by two major voids, one acting as an urban plaza and the other as an internal open space. The main idea of the project was to create an urban void which not only functions as a part of the building, but also as a part of the city and the surroundings. This void creates a connection between the building and the city through the common space of the building.
The interior commercial space on the ground and underground levels are the continuation of the urban plaza. Through this platform, people could reach the roof area without entering other levels using a diagonal elevator.
