The primary criterion for this project was to create a consistent logic defining both the commercial and the office spaces in terms of spatial organization. The other important consideration was to create an aesthetic consistency between the commercial and the office sections of the building.
A 3-dimensional surface was created to define the volumetric fluctuations, the entrance, and the public commercial space. This surface was then used to form vertical layers defining the façade.
Inside the building, the volumetric fluctuations of the surface created the interior walls and defined space boundaries. The front landscape was designed by extending the façade pattern on the ground. This pattern was also used to form the green roof of the building.
